You Are In Love

It’s that warm feeling you carry in your chest when it's freezing outside

And all you want to do is curl up under your covers

It’s when you find yourself smiling at nothing walking down the street

And everyone passing by you must think that you’ve gone mad

It’s when you find yourself looking for them in a room of people you don’t know

And it doesn’t take you long because your eyes are magnetized to each other

It’s that weightless feeling like you’ve lost ten pounds

And you actually wonder if you’re floating on a cloud or not

It’s when you experience something new and so magnificent

And the first thing that comes to your mind is tell them all about it

It’s when your heart physically aches when you are apart

And your mom wants to take you to the hospital because she thinks you’re about to have a heart attack

It’s when you can’t fall asleep at night because they are consuming your every thought

And they are also the first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning

It’s that familiar feeling like you’ve known them your whole life

And it’s not even true because you’ve only known them for seven years

But it doesn’t matter because they are your best friend, and you are in love.
